Brownies

Ingredients

• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 2 cups sugar
• ¾ cups cocoa powder
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 cup water
• 1 cup vegetable oil
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• (Optional) 1 tbsp decaf instant coffee

Instructions

• Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
• Mix the dry ingredients together
• Add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients
• Mix until well blended
• Spread evenly into a baking pan
• Bake 25-30 minutes in oven
• Let cool for 10 minutes and cut into squares

Best served with a drizzle of chocolate sauce and light sprinkle of cocoa powder or very fine sugar alongside fruit or vegan vanilla ice cream
